The Cookie Monster is 40!

Yikes - where did the time go? T and the girls had a "surprise" party for me on Friday night complete with cookies and gifts and then I got to spend the whole weekend celebrating - with lunches, pony rides (okay not me exactly) culminating in a trip to Hlane National Park - where rhino and elephants came to wish me a Happy Birthday. We are in Swaziland! So far things are going well. We are staying in a furnished 2 bedroom apartment in town near K's office. The first 2 weeks we were here we were able to borrow a colleagues car while he was on leave while shopping for a LandRover. Looks like we will buy a new 2008 Landrover Puma with all of the gear - pics to follow soon. We are also in the market for a local "beater." Looks like it might be a 110 pick up.

T's been looking for houses. Our container will arrive on / about 7 October in Durban - so we are expecting it here by the end of October - so we're looking to move into a place by then.

The girls start school on the 11th - which will give them some much needed structure to their days. M will start big girl school in January.
