Another weekend hike near Aburi with the kids and some new friends. The hike was one way downhill for the kids and despite stinging nettles, slippery mud and one very squashed scorpion (did you do that T?) fun was had by all. M was a trooper and made the whole hike again! H rode on the Daddy guy and was also a trooper. The weather is still gorgeous and cool. If Ghana were this temperature all year long - it would be alot easier to get out and about more regularly. If H didn't weigh 26lbs it would probably be easier too!

Finally got out of Accra today and went out and climbed the highest mountain in the area. Three families with 6 kids in tow. They did great - and hiked very far up the hill. The weather in Accra is still cooler than most of the year and it was nice and cool on top. Alan and T drove up to the top 2 weeks ago - which given the hiking terrain - must have been a pretty interesting drive - especially given all the rain they saw the week Alan was here. Great day out.
