Over President's Day weekend we took a trip to Phoenix and Sedona to see what warm AZ weather is like. Well - it only snowed on one day (leaving NM). We went by the very large array (VLA), had a perfect lunch in PieTown - saw what mining can do to US towns (wow - looks like the third world) and landed in Phoenix. We bought out new kitchen at Ikea (wow consumer overload) and headed for Sedona. Warm sunny weather and beautiful red rocks. Last night in Flagstaff before heading home via one of the largest meteor craters in the world (the power was out - it felt just like the third world). Good thing the sun was out.
